In Pakistan, the state of financial system is marked by low deposit to GDP ratio, account ownership, and bank assets. Ladies & Gentleman, I would like to briefly highlight the status and recent trends in financial system landscape, wherein this Lab will be operating. In this regard, Trade Organizations can play an instrumental role in providing a consultative platform as well as arranging funds to finance academic research, given their ability to identify key areas of research and pool in required resources. There is, therefore, a pressing need to establish and strengthen a formal collaboration mechanism between academia and industry for designing courses and setting research agenda that serves the objectives of both businesses and academia. Some of the key challenges faced in this regard are that: (1) universities tend to contribute to theory or empirical research with aims to get published in academic journals, while businesses are constrained by their mandate of profitability (2) businesses typically work on much shorter deadlines and aim for speedy results, whereas research work is inherently time intensive (3) not all corporations have sufficient funds to invest in research on product or process innovation, market development, and market intelligence. There are several key challenges to industry-academia collaboration and concerted efforts are required to overcome them. I hope this Lab will bridge the gap between industry and academia, and between theory and practice in the area of finance by providing students an opportunity to immerse themselves into real-world problems faced by individual corporations and the country's financial system at large. Let me begin by congratulating the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi and the Alpha Capital on taking this innovative initiative of establishing this Finance Lab. It is my pleasure to be here amongst all of you at the inauguration of this Finance Lab and sharing my thoughts with the distinguished audience. This isn’t actually that big of a problem unless you are fighting officers, and because the game will interrupt your fighting whenever a new objective is encountered, with new helpful arrows that give you and your partner the shortest path to take in order to reach it. Because the entire game is strictly in Japanese with English subtitles, you can spend a fair amount of time reading subtitles instead of focusing on the action. Most missions consist of killing thousands of enemies while eliminating certain officers as it pertains to the events unfolding before you. This is useful against the game’s many officer and boss characters. If you have enough Musou, you can perform one of your most powerful moves by pressing the circle button, and can easily clear the area of enemies. You also have to be mindful of Standard Bearers, who hold up a flag, which enhance the enemy soldiers. Mashing triangle can result in hundreds of enemy knockouts within seconds, however, this move can not usually be used to tackle officers, who are stronger than the peons strewn throughout the battlefield. You can begin a combo with the square button, as usual, but you can also use the triangle button to perform faster moves. Thankfully, it has been sped up quite a lot with the advent of new Hyper moves. They take some obvious liberties with the history, and liven things up in humorous or more dramatic ways than things likely played out in real life.Ĭombat has always been a slow, plodding affair in previous Warriors games. By the end of it all, you’ll likely have learned a bit about Japan’s history, because the game is based on real-world events in feudal Japan. You’ll play as one or two of the 55 characters in each mission, and in single-player you are free to switch between the two by pressing the Options/Start button.
